Rutgers - 47,723 average home attendance (down 6%)

I thought it was interesting that UNC was down 9% with the year they had.

There are some numbers that are very skewed based on one or two games. Fore example, Pitt is up 17% to 48,150, but as the article notes, they had a home game vs ND which drew 68,400 to Heinz field. Temple at 44,149 per game is up 89% from last year, but had Penn State and Notre Dame at home to add home crowds of 69,176 and 69,280 at the Linc.

Others that the Board may have interest in:

Maryland - 44,341 (down 6%)
Cuse - 32,102 (down 21%)
BC - 30,205 (down 13%)
UConn - 28,224 (up 3%)

Good point about Temple and Pitt. I would assume USF sees similar numbers when they host big names.

When commercials are painful to sit through in the stands, you can change the channel or just look at the other TV

The numbers for Cuse BC and Uconn made me giggle.

"UConn - 28,224 (up 3%)"

28,000 and that was an increase?? wow...

Previously undefeated Iowa lost 6% and PSU 2%-----we did well considering the circumstances

Our numbers are darn good considering the tailspin the team went into this year plus all the off field issues. And last year was our first year in the B1G and that alone drove interest ....and having Penn State and Michigan come to Piscataway helped .

Don't you guys get at minimum TUOS and Sparty this season? We have to play 1 P5 per season OOC now as well. As long as you guys win a few, I would think the attendance will keep going up till at least a small addition is added. IIRC aren't you guys in the 50 to 60k range?

Terrible job. The coffee table should have a large recessed bowl, an embedded mirror, and a napkin holder perpetually stuffed with crisp hundred dollar bills. The pool table should a rotating circular bed and bar should be a condom dispenser. Also, it sucks because Cowboys.

The TV's are okay though.

Low 50's. 52,454 to be exact. There are plans for additions, starting with increased club seats and eventually with a new deck over the south end zone, should demand require it.

Our numbers should be extremely skewed because the other teams traveled very very well...... Taking the tickets of RU fans that chose to not go to the games because of the poor product on the field due to our coaching.

Down only 6% is practically a gift

We did play OSU and Sparty at home this year.... However Penn State and Michigan are better home crowds in High Points Solution Stadium. Look for RU to average above 50k next year.

Even in a year that was a nightmare off the field, we were at roughly 90% capacity. Really not much more upside which others above have indicated our stadium can accommodate. We do have other sports infrastructure needs to address which may come before any stadium expansion. Our new AD has not stated his opinion or plan yet. New bball facility should come before any stadium expansion.
