Any road win is a good win and RU kids get all the credit, especially playing short handed. That doesn't make Northwestern better than they really are. I don't think there is a stat they are top 100 in the country in, maybe steals. They are a team that maximizes itself by not turning the ball over and rebounds offensively, but are 3-7 in conference for a reason.

Ignore their 10-1 home record before we beat them . No fairness in your approach . They are not at the top of the league but somehow are very difficult for the conference to beat them at home as only undefeated MSU and Now RU have beaten them.

NW entered the game as a 9.5 point favorite, so as much as a conference record is 3-7, they were at home and favored by a lot of points. If you are upset or reluctant to give credit to RU based on the full body of work for the season, that is more than fair, but you appear to be petty and not looking to acknowledge that teams change or evolve/improve as the season moves forward. If NW finishes 4-16 in the B1G and 18th in the league, we can revisit the topic, but as of Wednesday night, NW was in discussion for a NCAA at large bid.
