2020 Rutgers UNITE Half Marathon & 8K

Ran it like 7 or 8 years ago. IIRC, started on Busch, then through Livingston (or was it vice versa, Livingston, then Busch?...getting too old to remember clearly), and then over the Raritan and ending on College Ave. Not a bad course, mostly flat, and a nice run past several campus sites amd landmarks. The year my wife and I ran was also the morning after some torrential rains so parts of the course were not able to be opened so they re-routed things and the half-marathon got shortened from 13.1 to a 10-miler.

I ran it about five years ago. It was a good run. Not too difficult. Obviously see parts of the school you might not normally see. Mainly up hill at the end (aren’t they all) if I recall correctly but not too bad.

I’ve run it a bunch of times. You should do it at least once. You run around the campus and Johnson Park.

This will be my eighth year in a row running it. Each year it gets a little bigger, very well organized and the weather for the most part has been fantastic. Flat course until the last 2 miles, fun day. Training in the dead of winter sucks though!
