Nets don't have their own 1st round pick.
Houston has the option of swapping (from the James Harden trade).

Knicks have their own pick but I can't imagine it will be very high lottery where hopefully Ace/Harper will be projected.
They also have the Bucks pick if not Top 5. Likely Knicks will get it but again not a high draft pick.

Silver lining: Nets get the Phoenix Suns 2025 1st round pick (from the Kevin Durant trade).
Lets play this out next year: Durant is another year older and never the model of health. Beal is hurt and barely played this year.
They don't have cap space to really fill in around Beal, Durant, Booker.

What if it's the season from hell with injuries to their aging vets?
Or maybe the Nets use the Phoenix pick and Bridges to move up in the draft?
There are teams who have too many high drafts picks and will need to move some of them. Just from a roster management perspective and can't make all their picks.

Haven't even touched a college basketball court and we are already throwing up draft predictions 🙃

2025 mock drafts are old news.
Ace and Dylan could sit out the entire year and would likely be high 1st round picks.

NBA is already looking at kids for 2026.
The are all over the Boozer twins.
Cooper Flagg was originally a potential 2026 NBA draft candidate before he reclassified.

This is why when people say "well if Clif or RHJ can do this or that he'll be a 1st round pick" it's nonsense.
1st round picks are mostly about potential a 18 year old could have. Not potential a 23 year could have.
