BB Recruiting 4-star PG Dellquan Warren commits

They need to figure out a way to do the interior in two separate off-season phases. Don’t have to worry about the exterior, that doesn’t mean a thing, but if they can do the interior in two separate off-season’s, so we don’t have to lose one there, then that’s how it has to be done in my humble opinion.
This!!! Are you listening, Pat Hobbs??

Like I have saying …I’ve been following this one quietly for 6 months or so since On3 listed us as a 90% favorite to get him

Lot of Jacob young in him …and reminds me , style wise , a little bit of Kemba Walker

This kids is a BALLER….and is gonna play the in your face defense thar pike wants

This is a high high end pick up

and the players.... I think recruits can see what we see.. and more.. when we watch the team play like a team.. share the ball.. DOMINATE.. have fun. You want to be part of that.. and the weird thing is.. Pike's D demands discipline... it asks a lot of players. Speaks greatly for any recruit that wants to tackle those demands... and seeing the end product reaping benefits has to help a lot.

I wonder how many good coaches with a good plan failed because teh players didn't have the right.. um.. lockerroom culture that would support a demanding approach. This is Pike, his assistants AND the players.. and even the recruit and his family/influencers.

Congrats to them all!
This team looks more in sync than any Rutgers team I’ve ever seen. You can see it when they’re running the floor on the fast break. They really do look like they’re having fun out there.

Well said!! And this is one of the biggest reasons why I think Dylan can develop better under Pike and this awesome staff, than Duke.

Staying on topic, welcome to the banks, Mr Warren!! You are going to play a huge part in bringing championship banners to Rutgers!!

Great stuff - thanks for the highlights; will certainly enjoy this season - but great to see top level players joining for 2023, and now just starting for 2024.

Some unexpected great news... I broke out the Korbel a day early to celebrate the verbal commit, but I'm saving the Dom Perignon until he officially signs.

(I guess I'm still a little shell shocked from a few previous decommits, especially in football, like Florida speedster Chris Johnson. I wasted time following and posting about his impressive track and field accomplishments while he was still committed to RU. I know it's a part of the game, but....)

Holy crap! You've seen a lot of things. Can you even remember all the coaches' names?
I personally saw some of Littlepage. Freshman year was Wenzel, then Bannon, Waters, Hill, Rice, Jordan, and now Pike. My four undergrad years were the golden age of my time as a Rutgers hoops fan before the last three seasons plus this one. It was a long time wandering in the desert.

Guess you missed the 1975-1976 season. A good team can win anywhere . . . home, away or neutral.
We played home games a the barn then with possibly an even better home advantage, but yes we won on the road also
