OSU pumping in 3s from all over. Led by 20. Maryland has gotten it down to 12 in the 4tkelsey Mitchell with 27 and the lead is back to 17.
Maryland looks vulnerable. They play no defense giving up 80 to OSU with 7:30 left n the game. They shoot early in the shot clock and have turned the ball over a lot. We will need to play our best game. But there's a shot especially since we have them at home.
Agree with what you said. Maryland looked very vulnerable tonight and I think we could beat them as well.
why the dig on Maryland since RU's defense has been atrocious this year...oh the D is so bad that they just win 25 games plus a year every year and reside in the top 10, top 20 at absolute worst
RU has no shot at them. Last year they did and they blew it. This year, not going to happen at all
The questions of whether Maryland has a good defense and whether RU can beat the Terps are two different things. Frese is not a very good defensive coach and never has been - her teams win on offense and individual effort on the defensive end, not any kind of really strong defensive concept or execution. (She's better than Hatchell, but that's faint praise.)
I would agree with you that the odds of RU beating Maryland are pretty slim this year, but it's in large part because of RU's defense, not Maryland's.

It's not necessarily a problem if you have the right talent. It has bitten Brenda in the backside in the past, but she certainly has been successful lately.
