All those top 10 teams that ran up the score on us..

Ohio State and Michigan could have certainly used those excess blowout points in their games.

My god what an idiotic thread. NO NEED TO REMEMBER THOSE SCORES -- and not all of them were "running up the score." We just sucked that much.

None of them will be playing in the champ game and so far they all lost their bowl game (Washington, Ohio State, Michigan Lost. Penn St left)

I'll call it the "Rutgers Curse."
Now I understand what happened to RU in 2016.
After regrouping following the Washington loss and beating Howard as bad as the Doggies beat RU , the Scarlet Knights became victims of their own curse every-time they played a top program

As has been said many times, it is not the responsibility of the other team to keep the score low. We, like the Emperor of the fable, had no "clothes".

nobody ran the score up

Disagree. Harbaugh was blitzing right through the end of the game. Franklin had his 2nd string QB run a designed QB draw, 3rd and long with 30-seconds on teh clock, in an attempt to score one more time. Bush-league, unnecessary and intentional stuff, on the behalf of both.

Running up the score only applies because Rutgers offense was as inept as the defense and special teams.

If we can't stop a 2nd string QB on a QB draw on third and long we don't deserve to be in the B1G.

please Rutgers was embarrassing...players gave up and had no pride, tackling was pop warner level in the 4th...cry me a river. They are trying to get better and gain experience for the lesser players suck it up have pride and make a stop

There was under 30-seconds on the clock. He should have been told/known to take a knee. Period. Nobody does that shit unless they WANT to score.

We sucked, yes. They were 2nd and 3rd teamers, yes. Neither of those have anything to do with the "intent" of the playcalling, however, and there's plenty of other opportunities to practice your blitz packages. Like the 3rd quarter (lol...).

in that Penn State game they had trouble getting their game untracked...I bailed from the game at 16-0 and was home watching the last minute and it was atrocious how RU played without any care to be out there...gave up and quit, the easily could have tackled PSU but they didnt want to, cant fault PSU for moving the ball forward
