i dont understand why people are crying over every little mention about the rutgers incident.

No one is crying here, wasn't paying attention and heard that comment and was just interested in what was she referencing.
If you dont know what she was referencing, you have truly mastered the Penn State art of looking the other way.
Just in case you haven't been paying attention... The university is conducting an investigation on how our coach has interacted with faculty regarding a student's grade, the largest newspaper in the state is calling for the head of the coach, the university faculty union is demanding a comprehensive investigation into every communication between coaches and instructors, 2 players including a starter were dismissed from the team after being arresting for robbery with an armed weapon during a home invasion and 4 other players were dismissed from the team after being arrested for assault and inciting a riot. What did you expect her to say, that everything is peachy keen at dear old Rutgers?

The Ledger didn't call for Flood to be fired, Politi did - big difference. Otherwise, post looks accurate and I have no idea why people are so annoyed with the media for their reporting on this (when it's accurate, which it sometimes isn't, but that's a separate topic).
No, I'm just disgusted with what's being going on the last few weeks. I have a son that goes to RU and disgusted with the perception of the school with the latest negative news that keeps on coming. I think our reputation as an institution of higher learning is worth more than any wins on the field. Changes have to me made and quickly, forget about this season, forget about if the recruiting class holds, we have bigger problems to fix.
