yes and it was with that thing we called a trial. Every single Vandy tweet, message, player etc doesn't need to lumped together going forward. Was it a stupid tweet? of course. Should they have known better? yup. That being said, no need for the fake outrage or additional media coverage.
Well, it was their football team who took liberties without permission. There is no way to spin this as a non story

They were dumb. It should be pointed out.
Should it be a week long story? Of course not. It does however, merit a post on a message board like this one.

Sure it merits a post here and I get that it would be picked on by sports websites but it's already made it's way to non sports media and I'd bet by Monday it grows.
