Another great win for the men showing some real spunk to take over the game and come back.
As I write this, the women are down 38-17 half way through the third quarter!! 17 points !!!!!!

Talk about different trajectories for both teams.

She needs to go. Bottom line. No more excuses. 21 points to PRINCETON in the 3rd quarter??!!! 17 points scored? Disgraceful. Yet another program that has blown by us.

waiting too long to make a change is how you destroy a PROGRAM . Haven't we learned this yet?

Wished her the best but this appears to be a destruction of what was the front for the school athletics. Can't put her personal interests ahead of the program.

I hate to say it because I don't want to take anything away from women sports but with coaching changes in two expensive sports you just couldn't do it with women's hoops also.

Let the next door couple years run, get bball and football settled, and and when the Big Ten pay outs continue to increase you do something.

Outside of die hards in college sports, nobody really cares about women's bball. Yes it's nice and fun to watch, and I remember being excited for those games 10 years ago, but it doesn't mean much in the scheme of college athletics

Who cares? Let stringer retire and play nice with the future hall of famer..one more year at max but expect nothing. It's just women's basketball..nobody around the country is ever gonna care

Can understand the frustration over the WBB program and the need to post it here after a tough win by the RU MBB team.

Seems like RU FB is letting RU fans down as well and some might be worried Ash will make Flood look like a good HC with the way the football program looks under him.
Pikiell looks like a good pick right now, Stringer's string might have run out and hiring Ash was a mistake caused by the winning smokescreen put out by the HCs he served under made him look better than he really is.

Hopefully CVS gets her team back on track, if not I'm sure Hobbs will make the right decision which might mean Vivian won't be back.
On Ash, RU's stuck with him for awhile, so lets hope he proves he's a better FB HC than he looks right now.
Pikeill is making RU look like RU struck gold on his hire and that we can be thankful for.

Some people really don't understand that we aren't playing some of our best players because they are not doing everything they can..im sorry, but if you don't show up to a practice or film room session, you are an entitled brat and you should leave the team unless you right yourself. not to mention that this was the weakest batch of seniors that I can ever remember. We had no upperclassmen leadership and we have a great class coming in. Football will be fine once we weed out the dead weight in our program..

Hopefully you're right and it's the players fault, talent, laziness or any other reason is the problem and once those type goes, RU will win..
But since I'm not sure RU's ineptness in FB can be placed fully on the players feet, I'm hoping it's Ash and Mehringer's inexperience which should improve as they learn their jobs better and if any of Ash's assistants aren't B1G material they'll be replaced before next season begins.

Hopefully it's the cumulative effect of talent level, new scheme, what talent there is not a great fit, and staff inexperience. As those things improve we should see better results....hopefully.

Only at Rutgers would we have a post bringing up the failing women's team immediately after a thrilling win that put our Men's at 6-0. Jesus Christ guys, if we want to be a winning school we need to at least start acting like it. Do it for your own happiness sake.

Some people just have to have some Misery with their happiness. This is the dumbest thread ever on the MEN'S basketball thread and some guy had to post right after a thrilling come from behind victory where the RAC was rockin !!!
