Another huge soccer transfer out

What does the recruiting class look like? Did we get anyone that can contribute? From what I'm told, the nj soccer circuit is very talented and we used to have good ties with at the HS and travel teams
We have not been very relevant on the NJ development circuits for a long time from what I think others here posted.

Hobbs should have had his short list already!! Besides football and basketball he has done nothing to improve some of our other sports then are in desperate need of new coaches
No money at this point on priority list of FY 2017.

No money is a BS excuse & the reason so many of our sports are in disarray & not competitive. These guys make peanuts. The real answer is we don't care.

Hobbs definitely cares. Dude has made some serious in moves in less than a year.

Soccer is most certainly on his radar. I am sure the coach knows what this year means.

He does and focused hard on raising money for the training facility. This should help in removing some excuses from coaches regarding recruiting and results.

I guess the proverbial "Cat is out of the bag"
Jason Wright has left the program and has transferred to Clemson I believe.
Sheldon Mckoy has left the program too. The junior college transfer (Romario Thompson ) that did not become academically eligible in 2016 is also gone.
All three were originally from Jamaica. Losing an All American to transfer is rarely a ticket for success.

Agree that it appears that Donnigan has lost the room, but is that a good thing or a bad thing. Can he turn it around by recruiting?
My question is with Recruiting season in full swing for soccer, as Classes are usually announced the end of June, does Hobbs make a move here now, or does he wait one more year?
What is Donnigan's contract situation?
Will a change in staff be beneficial in generating money to the program to get the New Soccer/Lacrosse facility done?

I personally would love to see them go after a high end club coach, like one of the guys at a MLS PDA's. The problem is paying them as College Soccer coaches are generally payed in the lower salaries at the majority of schools

Mike Petke would have been perfect, but he just signed on to coach the Real Salt Lake Monarchs (USL) and is making about $100K. He was the Director of Coaching for the New Jersey State Youth Soccer Association and is NY/NJ area Through and through. Maybe we let Donnigan go one more year at his $130k salary then get someone in here that can draw kids to the school and money to it's new facilities.

How many times does someone need to say that he isn't recruiting well & hasn't been until you or others believe it? There's a reason we have no depth & are bad; he isn't recruiting well. Time to move on already.
