Spring signing period ends Wednesday. Know that doesn't meant much but just wondering if it's a chance we end up having to ships for this year where we can possibly take Jackson and an eligible player for this season wherhee grad transfer or true frosh

Could Souf's offer be tied to Sanders decision?

Might be a chance, but I don't think so. It is probably more along the lines making sure his classes qualify, or the staff rethinking it.

I would say 80% more along the lines of the classes. Sanders I believe though is still out west.

I do believe Souf will eventually be here. Just still making sure everything passes are far as classes and what not.

Paid professionals had an article about his process weeks back. I am confident he gets on the banks.

The process may be longer than other Juco's because he came from overseas. I'm sure there are a lot transcripts to get and if they are coming from France or wherever...it could take time. I don't know for sure but I assume they need to get High School records as well....maybe not.

It's my understanding that Souf remains in the plans for the upcoming season.

JUCOs often don't sign LOIs. I wouldn't read anything into this that's not there

Not sure what decision Sanders has. He can either come back for this season or transfer to another school. He's not transferring. And I think he's dreaming of the NBA not Turkey or Italy.

His decision is making a 6 figure salary overseas or playing college basketball. Clearly he is entertaining it although it is expected he will return. Everyone knows he's not an NBA draft pick right now.

I don't think him taking as many days of a break from being on campus means he's considering playing overseas

He can make a six figure income with his rap career here. Overseas should not be a option.

We will see if Souf gets here or not. If Sanders stays 4 years him not showing up wouldn't be a problem.

I could see 10mpg. Over time, Mensahs role will be passing and running into opposing power forwards and centers for fouls. I wonder how much his shot could improve at this point. The D1/Pikiell staff guidance should be able to help him a tad bit.

It is hard to not be able to shoot much in JUCO and then get better at the D1 level. I think the teams designated good shooters will get some looks when Mensah is on the floor. It could be interesting to see what turns out. He has a solid drive, and said himself he is focused on being a great team mate and get his team looks. He could be an important piece depending on how other players perform.

What I don't know is....
1. Is Baker ready to contribute right away
2. How much "1" DNA does he have in him.

Baker will be able to contribute, but he still needs to bulk up to be able to be efficient at this level. I know after talking to the strength coach, he already received the packet for Coach VD.

He does like to pass. He is not a selfish player. There is probably a 50% shot they try to make him into a point guard. Seemingly the most natural passes are not at the RAC at the moment. Baker and Johnson. They will help, but probably not until about 10 games in.
