Was that a renovation of the existing place or completely new construction?Smaller than the RAC. Seats about 7400. But it's beautiful

So it can be done! First things, first- let's get the Performance Center built and open.Renovation
C'mon man. You know as well as I do you can buy a $12 ticket in the 300 level but just find sit in one of the hundreds of open seats there will be in the 200 level.RU needs to put seats in the 300 level
I'm not sitting on those bleachers without backrests
Since the 200 level is "sold out" tonight I'll sit this one out

It's the same building but the announcers said that absolutely nothing remains from the old place. They completely gutted it and rebuiltWas that a renovation of the existing place or completely new construction?

Yikes! May need to worry about a certain buyout first.Ryan Arena renovation took 20 months at a cost of $110 million.
That's a pretty big hill to climb

That's a tricky balance. There's a danger of getting too ambitious, the program doesn't meet expectations and then you're playing in a mausoleum.I took a tour last Saturday as I was out at the NW-ND game.
My daughter and her husband are season ticket holders for hoops and football.
It's nice but I would have had another 1000 seats in it personally.
Like the Bryce Jordan at State Penn. Have never heard a compliment about that place. Never. That's a tricky balance. There's a danger of getting too ambitious, the program doesn't meet expectations and then you're playing in a mausoleum.

Saw Garth Brooks there a couple years back. I love the fact it's not loaded with luxury boxes and suites like all arenas built in the last decade.
I think they like AC for that.fans will start coming. We have a hell of a coach. I also like to dream big and be able to fund Rutgers with tickets that won’t be out of control. You need a 10,500-12,500 areana that can also be used for other evens. Even the njsiaa wrestling championships.

But yes, one that size does help get bigger acts.
I think they like AC for that.
But if we just blow out the front from 118 up to where the offices used to be that should give us a number that we can make some money on and maintain the intimacy the RAC is known for.
Maybe a little more and to be honest, unless we’re starting from scratch with a new place, that’s enough.Yes, all that needs to be done is actual seats in 300s and expanded 118. We probably end up neutral on seats maybe add a little
Yeah, let’s reduce the seating capacity even more. Tremendous idea.RU needs to put seats in the 300 level

+1I don't think they would do that apart from a more comprehensive renovation, so that wouldn't be an issue.
