I don't think Ash is getting enough credit for recruiting right now. Harmon and Steward are listening to Rutgers again. Fuller seems like a kid with a realistic chance to come here. J. Johnson is back in the fold. I believe this class will be better than most expect.

I think we'll know a lot more once the quiet period ends. I know that seems incredibly obvious, but he should have a majority of his staff in place (hopefully all of it) and if OSU is able to dominate defensively, he can sell kids on the "that could be you" idea. After all, OSU is playing Notre Dame, so obviously everyone will be watching.[pfftt]

Frankly, if we take a hit this year, so be it. I expect the defense to be better next year due to improved tackling, better scheming, better preparation for what the other team might do (and the half time adjustments they may make), and the fact that a majority of our secondary won't be thrown into the fire because of a unit wide crime spree.

Why it takes kids so long to decide where they want to go when they have been recruited since they were in elementary school?
I would not waste time with kids who are that indecisive. They are not going to be happy no matter where they go.

Because it's a HUGE decision in a kids life. As you get older, your perspective changes. What was important when you were 15 may be less significant now. I'm sure as you get further into being recruited and making visits, education becomes more of factor. Coaches. It doesn't mean "indecisive"

I sometimes wonder about the intelligence of a kid who wants to go a college because he liked their uniforms when he was 8.
