Ash is not a Hicks Fan

I'm not a fan of how Ash is handling some players. Obviously, he will favor and play his recruits. I didn't like him pulling Muller and Laviano at key points in games. You give your starters benefit of doubt, they may have a bad series or half but they are your starter.

I disagree with that sentiment. Every position is a competition. Just because you're announced starter doesn't mean that a) you'll play every snap, or b) you'll still be by the time the season/week/game ends.

Hicks is a good player, just may not be right for what the coaches are trying to fo

Overall pro on this staff, but it feels like this players aren't fitting comes up too much. All that is is a new staff and inexperience. As he grows Ash will learn to use the talent he has ands bring out their best, but Hicks, Turay and others may unfortunately lose their window while this learning occurs.

Anyone else a little baffled by this. With our dearth of offensive weapons you would think there would be a role for a guy who is clearly one of the most physically talented on the team. This is a guy who ran for two hundred yards in a bowl game as a true freshman, who averaged over 5 yards a carry against a top 10 team just a few weeks ago....something mus be going on in practice, clearly, but I really believe the staff needs to find a role for this guy.

What about using Hicks as 2nd back/ or Sneed or Snorwheah?

We have few weapons....we should use what we have ...and then some.
