Given the staff composition and what we know about the philosophies of the new OC and the new DC, will they be going after a certain style of player to fill out this class?

I'm curious about what it means for Premium reporting. Does it take time for the mods to form new relationships before the usual scoops start coming out again? I've noticed both pay sites seem kinda slow.

I can see them going after a couple of athletic guards. In a spread offense, guards that can move are VERY important.

I can see them going after a H-back type tight end. The days of the 6-5 265lb blocking tight end are gone. The 2015 recruit Nakia Griffin might be a nice fit in this new offense.

I can see them not needing a punter. This offense won't need one (I kid). Actually, I don't think we really have a punter. I can see them getting a 5th yr or a JUCO punter.

I wouldn't be surprised if you see a few JUCO transfers in; given that there are a lot of MidWest junior colleges and these guys are almost all from the MidWest. Expect to see a couple of JUCO LBs. We are in trouble there for 2016. We might move a DL or two to LB (Myles Nash?).

If they get the sense that Russo is not 100% on board, they might be looking at a 2 star dual threat QB as a fall back.

Absolutely. Whenever the whole staff turns over, sources are lost and even if a source is still at the school, that source is no longer as plugged in as before and won't know near as much. Even when Schiano left, many sources dried up.

That's really a myth. The Ohio State offense you guys will be running is a power running offense from the spread. This is the offense that pounded Alabama into the ground for the 2014 title. OSU uses lots of 2 TE sets to run (especially in the redzone) and all the TEs on the roster are 6-5 250lbs. You are going to be looking at tweener (QB/RB/WR) for the HB position. The most successful HBs in Meyer's offenses have been running QBs in HS. But you won't have a FB anymore that's for sure.
