We know you read this board. The horse video is EXTREMELY POPULAR and has been praised by opposing team fans. It starts to generate excitement in the building before the players come out. Many people are disappointed there was just a small snippet shown on the screen that was pretty pathetic. Please bring the original video back or please make another video. We as fans cannot quite understand why you would axe something so popular with the fanbase that had zero to do with the previous regime! Thanks!

Given its apparent popularity (no argument there) and given that some consider it the Rutgers equivalent of Script Ohio (that's debatable), its mind boggling that so many fans choose to miss it and arrive in their seats after it is played.

Can't say I recall ever seeing it, as we usually arrive a few minutes before kickoff, although I know I've been there for some games 15-20 minutes early and don't remember any horse video. Link?

Thanks - yeah, that's a pretty cool video, although is it supposed to be blank (music only) from 00:56 to the end at 1:46?

Yea the idea was cool but the execution of it was meh.

The shots through old Queens and the rest of campus could be better and the video needs to be a little more intimidating.

Give me something that's going to get the crowd fired up.

Agree.

I always thought we could do one with scenes all over NJ too. Not just RU related ones. First time I saw that was at the Insight Bowl when the ASU mascot, Sparky was shown traveling all over AZ on his way to the game.

And as others have mentioned, we need another version for night games too.

yup...it was just a guy on a horse... i mean it was very amatuer. Gotta find a way to spice it up and make it more exciting.

Heck of a lot more interesting than the PR videos. Talk about boring. Here are the gates, here are students, here are students in a chemistry lab, here are student smiling. YAWN

The general idea was indeed great.
I always wished they timed it better with the team closely following the horse onto the field. The 4-5 times I've been there the last couple years there was sometimes like a 2, maybe 3 minute delay.? Talk about anticlimactic...
