Away Fans in RU Student Section

Subject pretty much describes the situation...had about 8 fans in MSU gear in the row behind me at the game last night. Nice enough people, who weren't really obnoxious and were just enjoying the game, but how on earth do the ushers let that happen?

I don't think I've ever had my ticket checked upon walking into one of the sections but isn't it obvious when a group of fans from the opposing team walk into a student section that they don't have tickets for that group? Noticed similar situations last year for PSU game and Wisconsin as well so this isn't a one-time issue.

They could be Rutgers students who just happen to root for the visiting team.

One or two random people? That's definitely possible, not when it's a group of 8 people dressed head to toe in MSU gear including MSU blankets. They were people who used to go to MSU and currently live in NJ (from what they told me when I was talking to them)

Some of the ushers leave their post for several minutes to take restroom breaks. It's easy as heck to get into the student section, even as a large group. If you just wait for one of the ushers to leave, there's nothing to stop you.
