BACATOLOGY 3/11: NCAA TOURNAMENT ANALYSIS

My job is becoming much tougher. Alot in flux and it brings in teams like Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado and Seton Hall down in the scrum with Texas A&M/Indiana State/New Mexico along the cut line and now with surging profiles like Providence, St Johns, Pittsburgh added in. 11 or 12 schools fighting for for about 7 spots.

Nova is in trouble...they will have to win tonight and tomorrow

Providence win definitely diminishes Texas A&M even as the Aggies hold on. Why take them when you have a cleaner profile with better wins.

Dayton losing in the (early) second half to Duquesne. Bid thief alert.

Could be looking at a Nova -Providence semi tomorow

ive barely watched any big 10 tourney compared to others, something just is not exciting about it
It's stale...no emotion from the crowd.

I wonder how ticket sales were for Minneapolis? I have a hunch not too good.

Haven't heard BTN raving about sell out crowds...lol

Hence why I'd love for the tourney periodically to be held in Vegas and / or Barclays where the arena will have a buzz....

Trying to make sense of all this currently.......full scrub though needed overnight

LAST FOUR BYES: OKLAHOMA, MISSISSIPPI STATE, SETON HALL, VIRGINIA

FIRST FOUR OUT: INDIANA STATE, NEW MEXICO, PITTSBURGH, VILLANOVA

oh and for shits and giggles...remember when RU was 14-10 and we talked about finishing 5-2 but thinking Purdue had to be the win... I dont think that had to happen. any combo of 5-2 would have put them 19-12 and heading into the Big 10 tourney they would have been at least where OSU with an opportunity to pick up more quality wins I think that would have put them 5th or 6th any they would have need to win that quarter game to to get to 21 wins

for everyone saying get to 20 wins, just look at Ohio State falling short with 20 wins. Indiana not in contention despite finishing 6th and even Nebby not more than a 9/10. Have to schedule tough, the league is not all that great.

yikes Duquense now up 5 late and my bracket will have to be redone again if this holds as a spot from the field will be taken away

Watched two minutes of Indy-PSU and had to change the channel. It just doesn't matter. And there's no one there.

BET, A10 and MWC tournies all way more intriguing.

I think the league is just lacking.....not a fan of 10-12 teams being able to beat one another

even the ACC tourney has done better this year. Lets go back to 18 games

Barclays buzz? Doubt it. Always #2. Why subject self to that?

Indy is fun. Vegas maybe.
Don’t understand Minny or Detroit.
Chicago stadium just in nowhere land.

Why is Boston College in green? St. Pats?
Look like Artis Gilmore Jacksonville when I was a wee lad.

Indy was ok. I was there 2 years ago when we were the 4 seed and lost to Iowa.
Agree on Minny / Detroit. Awful locations etc.
I was at Barclays for several ACC tournaments and it was fine.
Vegas would be a lot of fun !

I was there for NCAA tourney. After the Garden I think best NBA arena. I just like so collegiate. People friendly. Kilroys open late! lol!

Saw Buffett in Brooklyn. Nice enough. Think Newark better!

BC has taken some awful shots. Why not go to the Post? (pun intended).
