Root for UMass-Lowell as well, doesn't hurt if they win their tourney. Playing in semifinals today against UNH. Probably would meet Vermont in the finals.
I think they are in already so if they lose they are stealing a bid.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, what are we (as fans of bubble teams) rooting for in West Virginia-Texas Tech? Do we think WVU is completely locked in at this point so that we should just root against Texas Tech to prevent any type of bid stealing? Or, is there still a chance that an 18-14 WVU gets left out? I'm leaning towards rooting against Texas Tech...though probably not a big deal either way, since their odds of winning that tourney are so tiny.
Texas Tech is going nowhere given the suspension of their coach but id root for them here just not knock wvu down though they are 99.9% in
I think WVU is in because their high metrics and some wins against the top of the BiG 12 already , so I think like Lion that we root for WVU to not give Texas Tech a chance to get hot
. I have for most of the year thought the BIG 12 is far and away the best deepest conference but I think now over the last 2 weeks , the difficulty of getting up for every game has taken its toll ( like the Big 10 the last year or two ) and seeing more blowouts or 15 point victories . Their teams look vulnerable now , Iowa State , Wvu , Baylor , even TCU.
