I'm strictly guessing because of conference bias but I would swap USC and Syracuse. Just a guess.

And now I remember why I don't gamble. Haha. Nicely done bac.

100% accurate....FIRST TIME EVER! Always are thrown a curveball. This year was easier than most as it truly was a weak bubble and none of the schools out deserved it or didnt meet the criteria. Also nailed all #1 seeds and got all first four team.

will check the seedings to see how may I got right but at first glance, this is the best I have ever done with seeding as well..congrats to me:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Great job by BAC here. Guy is our resident bractologist. Any secrets? What do you rely most on? Or is it more eye test?

Just numbers crunching, I do not look at the other guys like Lunardi and Palm until I have done all my reviewing for comparison only, it does not make me have pause or direct my thoughts. After years of doing this I have sort of caught onto what the committee is looking for and how much they rely on rpi even though they say they are moving away from rpi. Also its become easier because the committee really is making this about power conferences now and less about giving bids to smaller schools...its all about who you beat.

Judging by Bracket Matrix, the majority of "bracketologists" got 68 of 68. The absolute worst someone could possibly do was 67 of 68.

Got the play-in 4 teams correct, that's good.

This year the differences are in the individual seedings (last no.2 seed, Wisconsin, Wichita) so that would be interesting to compare to the main guys.

yes but Lunardi got it wrong and thats make everything sweet for all bracketologists...also Jerry Palm had Duke as a 1 seed which was tragic. I did get all top 3 seeds right, first 12 schools

Based on these picks, I see a website in Bac's Future. Bac to the Future would be an appropriate name barring copy rite & trade mark hurdles.

Nicely done. This might have been explained somewhere else, but I'm curious what your take is @bac2therac on what made SMU fall to the #6? They won regular season and conference title (granted not the 'best' conference) and ranked between 12-15 overall in multiple national polls. Purely a quality wins thing? I get that, but don't the AP, coaches, etc polls kind of take that into account already, so if they moved up to 12 or so there, then the level of play was already accounted for?

this conference isnt highly rated...both they and Cincy do not have a lot of top 50 wins and I think thats what it came down to. I though that both would be 5s seeds. Polls do not factor in at all, thats why you see Wichita State get screwed with their seeding. Committee really looks at rpi and amount of top 50/100 wins
