Does Rutgers allow you bring bag of any kind into the stadium ? I know they will search them, but wasnt' sure if you allowed them or not (to bring coats, hats, etc.)? Thank you.

Garments are good. So are blankets & seat cushions/chairs. The official bag rule is clear NFL sized bags or smaller only. I follow that rule so I don't know how strict they have been with larger bags or backpacks

Wear a big coat and stuff pockets w booze, beer, hoagies, and corn. :)

hoagies and subs are a Northeast thing. Though more people think they know what a sub is due to subway, but doesn't aren't real subs anymore than fast food pizza is real pizza.

Penn St is the only place I've been too that won't let u bring in a standard NFL clear bag....

I always carry a small black cloth 'backpack' with a RU logo on it into the games. No drinks, food, just eyeglasses, radio, towel to wipe seat on rainy day, etc. They look in it and that's it. One thing for you: THERE IS NO CHECKING OF ITEMS AT THE GATE! The 'check in' place is the trash can.

We are with the large group of PA Alumni/Fan groups from PA, NY and Boston that have a block of tickets in Section 114 and Section 115. I think we are section 114.
That is the visitors sections. Our colonial cannon is on the field in front of those sections. We set it off after scoring and a cloud of smoke invariably goes up into those sections. Don't think we will be singing Smoke Gets In Your Eyes much Saturday

Hopefully that canon is a 'dud' on Sat. but our DB's can make any passing game look like the 'greatest show on turf' at times.
