Over the past month- these 3 have come off like a B1G Athletic/Football program. We still need to see if this team produces but it just feels completely different.
This leads me to ask, previously, Barchi seemed so disconnected to Athletics. Almost to the point of completely disliking them or at the very least, annoyed that they were even on his plate. (both may be overstatements but like I said "seemed") He is now upfront, decisive and fully supportive.
Was his previous attitude because he was so entrenched in the merger or a complete disconnect with Herman? And if it was a disconnect, was it because of how she was selected or because he didn't feel she had a grasp? And how much would this have effected ANY coach we may have had over the past few years?
I am not looking for a witch hunt or anything but would love to see what some think.
