Always liked Bardo and it was cool to see him do his mid-season awards and pick Coach Pikiell as the coach of the year halfway through the B1G season. Bardo said it was "Steve Pikiell all day long" (after the other guy opened with I think this is a bit of a layup). Said RU has accomplished all this after losing probably their best player (EO) and added we're getting better, have tight chemistry and are deep and versatile; mentioned how well Myles has played and said Pike has gotten more out of his team than anyone. Just awesome to hear. They gave Underwood props, too, which makes sense as both teams are the biggest surprises of the year (RU moreso IMO).
The other thing they showed in the post-game highlights was that amazing play early on, where Myles blocks the shot, Harper saves it from going out of bounds, Caleb dives on the floor to get the loose ball, tossing it to Myles, who hands it off to Yeboah, who passes it to Mathis, and who then throws a gorgeous lob to Harper, skying for the alley oop dunk. Epitomizes the amazing teamwork on this team on both defense and offense. Nice!
