Baseball/Softball/Track/Soccer New Stadiums ?

I have to admit I read all three articles on nj.com pretty fast,but from what I understand, baseball,softball,track and field, and soccer will all get new stadiums on the Livingston campus. Is that correct ?

Like all long range plans it is a wish list more than concrete plans. I would be surprised if half of them are completed. I imagine they will be done as money is raised.

The track is not that old, sure it could use some additional touches but no need to move it or do anything drastic to it. It wouldn't take much to make it a nice facility. I would love if they would move the state HS meet to RU. When we were running in HS it was a thrill to run at Princeton and RU and S. Plainfield is not the best in terms of parking/logistics

Yes Newell I mentioned that at the track reunion a few years ago and Mulqueen mentioned that without lights the state meets can't be run there apparently. I'm sure they could rent them as other venues do. Huge recruiting tool just like the RU relays were.

Rutgers wants to be able to host NCAA events, which they can't now.

Excited for a baseball field! hope you can still tailgate on the hill that would make for a fun game day environment!

In the drawings,it looks like the new baseball stadium will be moved away from The RAC and the hill.
