Best RU dunker of all time ?

Good responses and comments on this thread. I want to chime in because nobody has mentioned John Battle. He had some great reverse slams back in the day.

JB is just before my time but Keith Hughes, Donnel Lumpkin, Steve Worthy, Dahntay Jones, and of course Corey Sanders were all great dunkers. For whatever reason, Wally Dixon just doesn't stick in my memory as having a ton of great dunks while at RU.

Pretty sure the answer would have been Jay McCoy if he didn't trip over his own feet when he was in all alone against Notre Dame on Valentine's Day on ESPN.

How about all those Jeff Kleinbaum dunks to put us at or over 100 points in all those games in 1975-76 ?

:)

Keith Hughes had some electric dunks during the run up to the A-10 title and the NCAA auto bid. Talk about the RAC rocking!!

Dunking wasn't allowed that year.

Insider joke for who are old enough. Jeff Kleinbaum may have needed a step ladder to dunk, but he did put us over 100 a bunch of times. Good solid player but not so much the athlete that that team had.

Kleinbaum scored RU's 100th point 7 times of the 8 or 9 times RU scored 100+ points. It was one of RU's "things" that year. As RU got into the 90's, Kleinbaum was brought in the game, and all the RU players tried to get him the ball to score the 100th point.
