We have arrived Gentlemen!! These boys came out fired up.Here's my take on today, and chime in if you'd like
McCabe: The kid keeps giving up those last minute take downs.Hopefully he comes back, but his biggest weakness is his defense
Giiraldo: Kid must of read my post, because he went out there and knocked the hell out of Alexander ,when he got crushed by him not less then a month ago.He needs to keep it going like that and may AA this year.
Ashnault:I was sweating like prison inmate, with his Sabatello match. He is definitely hurt.Has got too rest that knee, for his match with Guilibon tomorrow. He wrestled with guts.
Dippery: What can I say??!! Tyson wrestled like a man possessed today. He stayed focused and kicked some major booty today
Lewis: Richie has all the tools too AA>he has too win those tight "Murphy" matches in order to squeak through the brackets.Came back though and dominated Berger. He's gonna be a force.
Perrotti: I may catch some shit for this, but I feel like AP was psyched out by Jordan and hammed up that injury more than what it was.I might be wrong, and I certainly hope I am.I also hope it really isn't anything serious.
Bak..came out swinging and scored a knock out.Although his match with Nickal doesn't reflect how great he was against him.He pushed the shit out of that kid and wreslted too win.
Gravina: What can I say? The kid goes after it and has such a upside.I wouldn;t be surprised if was a 2X AA before he graduates
Hyrmack: The heart soul of this program ladies and gentlemen
Smith: That match agisnt Kroells was BS,but Billy bounced back with style and really poured it on with the attacks.Like Haydens NCAA bid,I want Smith too get that elusive AA he's been chasing for the last 4 years.

I must tell you that you are incorrect. AP was about to take Jordan down and got hurt badly so that his season may be over. He was not psyched out by Ike. I spoke to him one on one for a few days in the week leading up to the Bigs and he was ready to get him this time. That kid is afraid of no one, trust me. He will go out there flying. His injury was real not phony. I hope he can make MSG but not sure. You are entitled to your opinion as that is what this board is for, my friend. The rest of your analysis was spot on in my opinion. Let's hope Sean steps it up. I hope you all remember that I said on this site before the boys went to Iowa that they were as focused and ready as I have ever seen them so there were no excuses for their performance. Well no excuses and kudos to the kids. I just hope AA is not to affected by that knee and can show the real AA.

I think you deserve some shit for that assessment of AP. While you are entitled to your opinion why go there unless you have something to back that up? You don't, after all he has put into getting to this point, he was truly unable to continue?
wasn't trying too cause controversy,It just looked staged.Sorry if I was wrong.I'm a huge fan of that kids,by the way,and Issac Jordan getting beat by him would of made my day. Most important,is that he is ok.

Creedo, that falls under the category of even if you think it you don't need to post it. Just keep that to yourself. Nothing good can come from it.

Dude..relax.It was a simple post about what I thought was happening. It's wrestling, not knitting. If I made fun on his parents or siblings, then I get the backlash.

Not sure if anyone else noticed but AP was holding that same area at the end of his match with Welch. It looked like he was in some pain then, so the injury may have actually come earlier and gotten aggravated in the Jordan match. I feel bad for him and hope it's not as bad as it looks right now. The Rutgers web-site says he will skip the rest of this tournament.

I'm pulling for AP to recover enough to wrestle effectively at the Nationals. His passion on the sidelines when his teammates are wrestling is Unsurpassed. His emotions after a big win stands out . He deserves every benefit of the doubt. The guy is a Warrior.

That said, today Anthony Ashnault can make RU History and become our first Big 10 Wrestling Champ !! I'm already nervous and it's still hours away , and I' m not even there or part of his real family ! lol. Us fans certainly invest a lot of emotion, not to mention time , into our teams !

Go RU....Go Anthony Ashnault !!

MatFan was correct. He did it in the Welch match and was in deep on a TD with Jordan and boom. Rib separated from cartilage. I am no doctor but that does not sound good

Wow, wrestling is a fragile sport....On top of the world one minute and unable to perform the next.
AA really needs to rest his knee between the NCAA and B10 Final.
Hopefully he can pull out a win and improve his NCAA seeding to #2 or #3.
That would be huge in potential matchups during the big dance.

Oh my Lord, that is a bad injury.he may not be able too compete at NCAA's.So,sorry for the critical analysis.I deserve crow for that one.I'm praying he gets better. That injury takes months too heal.I'm sure the staff will assess it and hopefully see a physician that can make an accurate diagnosis and treat it properly.

We all say dumb things creedo...you owned up to it, so I say let's move on to looking forward to AA getting a B1G championship!!! And the rest of the guys winning their placement matches!!

No problem. Forget it. Scott said to me that yesterday was the most incredible performance by a team he has ever been part of.
