The NCAA Division I Wrestling Committee will meet in-person to select the remaining 49 at-large qualifiers, which will be announced on March 7. All weight classes will consist of 33 wrestlers. The at-large selections will be made based on the following criteria: head-to-head competition; quality wins; coaches’ ranking; results against common opponents; RPI; qualifying event placement; and winning percentage.

7 was near the top end of what most of us expected so if Pagano gets in, not a bad weekend considering the loss of Lewis this season and starting 2 true Freshman in a rebuild year.

Pagano had a rough weekend, but if he slips in he could still make some noise in the early rounds.

And one of those true freshman, Matthew Correnti, has qualified at 197.

Pagano is one of the highest ranked wrestlers at 174 that hasn't qualified yet and he missed qualifying in the B1G Tournament by one point.
