Brandin Knight: More involved in offensive strategy

Love this. Have been seeing Brandon barking out sets alot and in the last huddles on TV he’s calling the shots. Much like an offensive coordinator in football.

Also NICE cuts, back doors, screen and rolls, in general it’s much improved.

Pike is a 100% defensive coach first and foremost.
Sitting directly behind him at games. there are times when he doesn’t even watch an offensive possession.
He may be talking to a player he’s gonna sub, talking to another coach ot making a comment to the entire bench with his back to the offense.
On defense he’s in defending posture moving with the ball as if he’s on the floor…lol

I have no problem with delegating, especially because Brandin has been here awhile and Pike trusts him. If you have great assistants, you might as well use them and you can focus more attention on other things
