About 7 years ago I was told that my donation in order to satisfy my seat and lot requirement could not be made by purchasing a brick, and this was after my doing so the two previous years in a row

It might have had something to do with seat location at the time..... I understand that I could buy a brick for priority points, but I would have to donate separately to satisfy parking lot requirements.

Did it last year , no problem it with credit toward PP.

It credits to pp but not RSF seat gift. Seat gift needs to go directly to R scholarship fund. Both get pp credit

This bears repeating.

There are many types of donations which earn priority points. Brick purchases are one type of donation that earn priority points. Donations to the R Scholarship fund are another type of donation that earn priority points.

But only donations to the R Scholarship Fund satisfy the seat gift requirements.
