Bryan Dougher Also On Board

These were just posted on Wednesday. Can they hire Dougher for DOBO yet? I guess, if they just don't make it official. He seems young to have on the staff as a recruiting assistant.

I thought he might be coming over as an assistant moving up in his profession.
But being DOBO at Rutgers is a step up from being the Stony Brook one, so can see
why he'd make the move and also be closer to where he grew up.

That said: we'll probably be hearing he's interviewing at Central Connecticut for an assistant job there [banana]

This would be a good get as a DOBO. Jerry has followed Dougher a lot over the years. Listen to what he says.

He has been back at Stony Brook for 1 year as DOBO. He is not ready for a Big 10 assistant job.

Many of us stated that we assumed he would become the DOBO for RU. As I stated in another thread I saw him play for Scotch Plains and he was a very good player. Jerry Carino did write positive articles about him several times when he was at Stony Brook. He was an outstanding three point shooter. I'm glad that he will be with us and I'm certain his family and friends will be glad he is back in the area.

I think you need to look-up the definition of fiasco

Really?? Go back and read the thread. The posters were going ballistic over the hiring. They had him recruiting the best kids in NJ and it was all based on the reports from the "people who are supposed to know". When the news broke that it wasn't true the disappointment was massive. Yeah, they got a lot of hopes up and then dropped them. Based on the tone of that thread it was a fiasco.

I would trust Jerry Carino's reporting on what's happening with Rutgers rather than Zags or Jon Rothstein. Jerry was the first one to say "not so fast, my friend" on the Marshall hire.

I can agree with this but I will still wait for something more official.
