What a great night. Living down in Florida, to be able to watch the Big Ten Network all night is a dream. Beats the old days of waiting for the final minutes of the News12 NJ broadcast for coverage

There was a ton of love for Rutgers in those 30 minutes. They were talking up the potential of going to the big dance and said an above .500 record was doable if they continue to develop. I've forgotten what it was like to have a really fun team to root for.

I think in previous years when talked RU up it was sort of in a backhanded way...dont have alot of talent but they play so hard...now its that we actually are good

Yes, I realize that they are going to try to make anything sound better than it is, but their comments at the half and after the game about RU basketball were refreshing.
We come out minus our prime player and put the wood to Nebraska. The only time the crowd seemed to really get into it was when we were shooting technical foul shots.
I know we have a long season ahead and we will definitely need Baker, but you have to love what is going on right now.
