not sure who was touting this coach, but they are very undisciplined, no imagination on offense, and don't seem very inspired.

The coach just got there. You gotta give him more than 2 weeks to change the culture.

Plus it's Buffalo. Nick Saban couldn't win there.

That's fine. But don't tout him as the next Rockne until he actually does something.

Turner Gil had success there. Just sayin'

One year. 8-6. Heck, Jeff Quinn had them at 8-5 2 years ago, and then they dumped him at midseason last year. Not sure what they were thinking.

right now they are trailing big, bad PSU by only three though. If Buffalo is bad, what is PSU?

Leading question to obvious answer. Who said PSU is big and bad? They look Charmin soft.

Most of the Penn State fans are getting to be worse critics of their team more than Rutgers fans

The only thing that sucks is we play them in a night game and their fans are actually gonna show up and Penn State's team is actually going to think they are playing big time football for a night. I'd rather get them like Buffalo did... it's raining at noon and noone cares about you.

I don't think he's the next Knute Rockne or anybody but I am interested to see how he does after finding out he was up in Buffalo. I don't know that anyone here really said much about him other than having that same curiosity. Leipold himself is wondering too how he'll do on a stepped up level in an article I read about him. I won't judge much from this game or even this year. How he does over the next few years, specifically against his conference competition, is what matters.

And for good reason.

There was some improvement this week in both play and coaching but still a long way to go. I actually have a glimmer of hope that we may be able to run the ball if we stick with it. We'll have to see how bad Nelson's injury is. Barkley is going to be special.
