Thats true.. IF he is still around. Im not the biggest fan of him but I dont think what he did is a reason to be fired.

Butch Jones Hs only Called plays 3 years in his career. Last time he got demoted. Rather have him as HC and schiano as DC but neither scenario is real
We went through this when Flood supposedly fired. False info. Bad vibe. Not surprised that poster had a premature Ejack on fake news. Trying to put yourself "in the know" is what little people do.
I don't think the two of them have any previous relationship (other than hating UT). If I'm Schiano, I wouldn't let anyone else dictate who my OC is. I think he holds all of the cards, as he should. He needs to be the next RU HC.
I have a feeling schiano isn’t even interested. Too many “sources” here with misinformation and really no one from his camp has even confirmed interest or an interview. If this is the first interview I hope there are more of this caliber.

Yup. My source is dead to me. LOL. I never said take it to the bank or anything like that and cautioned about what happened with the Flood firing after the 2013 USF game.

We need Barry Alvarez and a Big Ten coach to put their stamp of approval like they did for Ash. If Bill Walsh was still alive, they could get his approval too.

I’m aware of that and the supposed Ash firing last year. Doesn’t change anything for me I still welcome anything anyone wants to share if it’s with good intention. If it comes true it comes true and if it doesn’t it doesn’t.

The only thing I've been saying is just about certain is that Greg is interested and I stand by that. The other thing I had heard from a different source, which I posted about in another thread, is that Jones and Bielema are two other candidates we're very interested in, so Butch being interviewed is not a surprise to me.

I don't have any idea who you are responding to in your post above and don't care. I shared information from a source that seemed very legit. I qualified what I posted and specifically referenced the failed Flood firing in 2013.
However, there is still a chance that the source is not incorrect, but that is unlikely.
It's a friggin' internet message board where rumor and innuendo are what we pay for. Oh wait, this board is free, lol. IMO anyone who does more than some friendly ball-busting if your prediction tanks is acting like a whiny bitch...
