Not sure it's the worst ever, but it was pretty bad. Even if it had worked, I'd say it was a bad decision.

Very true. Except Boise got a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty call on the fake punt play and then did not score due to a missed FG.

Can you imagine the board outrage if an RU HC did a fake punt from our 5 yard line and our punter got tackled at our 2 yard line ? Heads would explode here.

The blocking scheme wasn't bad but holy hell the kicker was 5 yards deep in the end zone. Who calls a fake there?
