Can we pull a University of Chicago?

So it's quite evident that Rutgers can't compete with the big boys.

Let's say we decide to drop out of division I sports at all levels and go back to our true academic ways.

Can we still continue to be in the CIC (Committee on Institutional Cooperation) and continue to get the academic benefits of the Big Ten conference?

If Baylor and tcu can compete...RU can flat out dominate...period...
 
Rutgers needs to hire a "recruiting coordinator" whose only job is to line up visits and run camps. Preferably a respected coach from a prominent NJ high school, IMO.

We lined up Partridge, but he bit off more than he could chew during negotiations.
 
We could never top University of Chicago because they have the greatest alum of all time: Professor Henry Jones, Jr., who studied at UofC under Professor Abner Ravenwood.
