Robeson was a truly remarkable man. Athlete, singer, actor, athlete, phi beta kappa, class valedictorian, law school, and civil rights activist. He attained these achievements during a time of extreme prejudice on the part of our Nation.

I know there is a building or cultural center named after Robeson. I am pretty sure I have never been to it or even know where it is. I am sure many alums and students haven’t . Why isn’t there an athletic venue named after the guy?

The Paul Robeson Cultural Center used to be located on main campus just off College Avenue at Bartlett Street. Now, it is at:
