Carroo Draft Projection

al: love the scarlet lenses, but the NFL is bursting at the seams with receivers similar to Carroo.

The one guy I thought was a pure NFL WR out if Rutgers was Britt. I'm betting Carroo dies even better. Don't forget, he didn't exactly have the best QBs throwing to him on the banks.

All-pro within three years IMO.

Impossible to predict because will be heavily driven by his combine. Lot of college WRs but up gaudy numbers and highlight reels; combine plays big role for that posution

I'd like him on my favorite team - the Vikings.....

Can you imagine Carroo as a Brady target? Yikes! Carroo to a team with an accurate QB would be deadly.
This. Carroo has a knack for getting separation as well as gaining yards after the catch. And unlike Sanu, whose greatness on the field for RU could be (unfairly, IMO) discounted due to the level of competition, Carroo was doing it against some very good competition and making it look easy.

I think NFL scouts will see that and it will bump him up in the draft.

Belichick rarely if ever wastes a draft pick on an offense skill player in the first couple of roundsm outside of Dobson (bum) and Laurence Maroney (half bum)

so many people forget Britt had a great QB (Teel) throwing to him. If Sanu and Carroo had better QBs Sanu would've been rd 1 and so would Carroo. I agree though his 40 will make or break where he is drafted. I say late 1 to early 2.

Carroo isn't listed on any mock draft board (top 3 rounds). That makes me think Carroo is going to rise or fall on how he does at the combines.

Carroo may be the best player ever to come out of Rutgers. He is made to play football and score touchdowns. We were bailed out by him so many times. I think his Senior Bowl week will get him into the late 1st round mix and if he can run under a 4.5 at the combine, I think he will be a prime time pick. He will be a pro bowler by 2020 if he stays healthy IMO.

Treadwell, Dotson, Coleman, Boyd, Thomas (I think is overrated) probably are top 5. After that, Shepard, Carroo, Cooper are probably in the mix (3-4th round). There's always 1-2 WRs that blow away numbers at the combine that get overdrafted and then they figure out later why they only had 34 catches in college.

Agree

Think about it.

Tyler Boyd passed many of Larry Fitzgerald's passing records while at Pitt. How good is Larry Fitzgerald.

Many players want to compete at a school where they can play quickly to establish impressive records so as to be noticed by the NFL. Riding the bench doesn't do it.

My guess Carroo 3-4 round (many great WR coming out).

HAIL TO PITT!!!!
