Cass Tech HS (MI) visiting Cuse this weekend?

Good for them. Is this any different from what Rutgers does on Junior Day or what others also do that's similar. Apparently Baber has a connection at the school and it traditionally produces outstanding athletes. Let's not try to make something out of nothing and just worry about what goes in at RU. And from all reports thus year's Junior Day was very successful in familiarizing the visitors with the new staff and vision going forward.

As noted by another poster....who cares? We have our own garden to seed and cultivate and I think most will agree Ash and company are off to a very good start in clearing the land and putting productive seeds into the soil. Now all we have to do is water and tend to the plants and garner a few good wins so we can reap the crops at harvest time.

I think Rutgers always did a great job of getting NJ top players to jr days and unofficial visits and they continue to. Ash seems to be a no nonsense guy. He is gutting out the old and installing the new. It may take a couple years but Rutgers will be better from it. I was pretty excited when it was rumored that Cuse was in on him. Cuse relies on Team trips from power programs. They have to. Its a good move for them. NY is not a state with lots of top prospects. They rely on dipping in MI, Ohio,PA, NJ, DMV to get players.

The bigger question is why start a thread on this? Who cares about a school no one has ever heard about?
I guess you don't follow recruiting too closely, this school traditionally produces High FBS level talent that is recruited by Michigan and Ohio state and I would suspect coach ash has some relationships there from his time at OSU. Believe they have quite a few players in the NFL. I'm sure those who follow recruiting closer than I do on this board are definitely familiar with this school.
