In the 8-9 games before Mags was hurt the subs were averaging 20-27 minutes, in total. Most of those minutes were taken up by Simpson. Reiber and Woolfolk played very few minutes. Miller and Palmquist essentially had no minutes. In the last two games the subs played a total of 40 min against Ind. and 50 min against Ill. Mags is gone and Spencer has become a non entity. No defense will keep opponents under 60 points in every game; especially having lost one of our best defenders for the season. We are in trouble.
To think the coming games will be easy is not facing reality. We will be vulnerable in each of them.
There is no easy solution. Pikiell may be forced to give the starters more minutes. He certainly can't have more than one sub playing in the game at a time.

Spot on comments.trying to manage for the departure of Mag with a unproductive bench and inconsistent scoring from the starters.Coach Pikiell has stated he likes grind out games which will surely happen in the six remaining league games.

I was screaming at the TV to leave those guys in!! We lost the game with them on the bench, we gotta shorten it up and ride these guys more. Rest them when there’s a +10 lead

The bench will hopefully play better at home. Defend home court and hope we get some contribution in at least a couple road games
