Novel idea here...how about we get behind the QB that a new coaching staff has chosen, has an additional year under his belt, goes out and competes and clearly worked his ass off from Spring to now instead of snarky posts like this?
The kid who disparaged Rutgers alums on Twitter? Get behind him?

You suck. Sorry but if you cannot get behind the guy who EARNED this job from 2 different staffs with plenty of competition then you suck.Take Washington, Lay the points.
The ones that cheered when he got hurt and booed when he went back into the game?

Right or wrong, it is not our decision to make so root for the guy who earned the job.Right or wrong, I just don't think he's the best answer at QB from the possible choices on this team. I don't mean anything personal to him, but I am sure Alex Van Pelt looked better than Joe Flacco at Pitt's practices as well.
As the first game is not against a cup cake, Ash will seehmm
Hopefully he can now complete passes longer than 2yds consistently. Otherwise our run game is gonna get screwed.

Yes. You said it yourself. "Kid".
The "kid" made a mistake (two) on social media. Great, let's move on.
He has the support of teammates (for both years). Support now of two coaching staffs. Is going out and competing with the name of our alma mater on his chest. So if the teammates and (new) coaching staff can get behind him, why shouldn't we?
Plausible. We did see this once before in 2009. Laviano is clearly the closest to being game ready so he wins. He has to continue to work hard to keep the job. Competition is a great thing. Let's support the guys who are on the field and not root for our team to lose to we can say "I told you so." We have way too many on this board and at games who seem to love to see us play poorly. It's sad really. As the first game is not against a cup cake, Ash will see
right off bat how he plays against the big boys. I think ASH
is waiting for a wide receiver to out play him at QB, I think it is a set up, Ash doesn't want
Allen's first game to be against Washington, He will ease him in
against Howard.
I can't believe the negative a-hole comments already. Hello...he won the QB competition...again!! What, are we gonna boo him when he lines up for first snap in Seattle?
@rydunleavy: Ash: Laviano has done a nice job of adapting to power spread but #Rutgers has to adapt play-calling to his skills.
The guys I know who actually bet on these games were already taking Washington and laying the points before the big announcement. As one said to me...."Even if Nova was out there vs. Washington it wouldn't matter."Take Washington, Lay the points.
All of them did? That's news to me.
That's not fair. Chris can hurl the rock upwards of 8 or 9 yards.what would that be? the 5 yard TE out?

Is our QB play really still this bad?Ash just announced on conference call.
