A few days ago I heard on Sirius college football radio station the analysts talking about back ground checks within college recruiting. The conversation was about the KID who transferred from Boise to Baylor who got in all sorts of trouble at Baylor for Sexual Assault and who should have known about the kids past at Baylor. The analyst (I forgot which analyst) thinks that colleges will start to hire their own internal investigators to analyze a recruits past similar to how the NFL Teams have their own Security Department analyzing draft picks. The NFL Security Departments are generally made up of retired Detectives , retired FBI Agents etc. He said there is too much money involved at the college level to have bad press destroy the coaches, admin and team through negative publicity and in this day in age with all information available on all sorts of medium the time has come for the Colleges to hire Professional Security Personal to analyze recruits and kids on the team.
