A lot of people commenting how he should have stayed here. That is selfish fan talk. How knows if we would have been better this year even if he stayed. It was nowhere near a guarantee.

As mentioned, he has financial responsibilities. He did what was best for him.

I hope Corey can land another team to earn some money. We have several guards and if he had stayed I think a few would get almost no minutes. I think we have a bright future. I just wish the best for Corey. It was his decision and we should respect that. He gave us 3 years of hard work.

I dunno, there's a few good examples out there: Juwann Howard, Larry Fitzgerald, the guys on the Chiefs who became a doctor, Eddie Jordan...it does happen.

Hope it does----in my experience the longer guys stay away from school the more difficult it is to discipline yourself to return.

Those guys you mentioned were successful professional athletes making big money. It wasn't a strain for them to do it

Right now the reality is he's a statistic.

No degree which limits his employment opportunities-------no steady income for which to provide for his child---------and no league to play in.

I wouldn't wait till next summer if it was me----get back in school as quick as possible.
