Corey Sanders gets it....some fans don't

lmao bingo..the cluelessness of posting a highlight from a game RU lost 76-45

Or the cluelessness of thinking all the highlights were just from one game.

Welcome to my ignore. No need to respond directly to my comments, your name willl not appear on my screen and I will not see them.

This is great!

Ohio is going to ignore every RUTGERS basketball fan who thinks we need a new coach.

He is going to log in to the men's board and say, "Hey! Where did everyone go?"

Imagine if he was the board moderator, lol...it would be him and one other poster saying how we turned the corner because we lost by 35 instead of 50.

I haven't posted anything on this thread until now, but he can add me to his list.

Our current starting center has regressed under Jordan. There is an example.
He is hurt. He has always been limited with lack of great hands or low post moves. He has a good 10-15 jumper but that is about it. You can fault the staff, and I think although not 100 percent sure , O'koren works with the big men, and how our guys are not taught a drop step , is fair criticism.

A drop-step would be really tough to pull off for a player with a bad knee. Pivoting would be excruciating. Though Foreman seems like he would have the athletic ability to pull it off

I agree Wins and Losses at this point is not a good judge of progress, especially with 7 scholarship players. Really the judgement of progress is player development. Now Eddie hasn't had "his players" for more than 2 years at this point, so who is a player that has been here all 3 years Eddie has been here? Greg Lewis. Poor Greg is undermanned and undersized most nights he is playing because of the lack of front court depth but take that out of the equation. My question to all of you is, have you seen significant improvement from '13-'14 Lewis to '15-'16 Lewis?

Successful college basketball coaches are dependent on developing their players and improving them so that when they come in as Freshman, they leave with a better skill set as a Senior. Right now the failures of the team are not on the players, they're trying. The failures are on the staff.
Partially true and partially false. The staff has to teach more offensive moves, drop sites , baby hooks, post ups with a little push shot..I see very little out do Lewis or Diallo in his short time playing. On the other hand, players naturally get better playing in practice and as they mature. Sadly, our players do not play against better competition and have not shown the innate ability to make themselves better. Not sure why?

Yeah but a baby hook or short push shot which most big men have today, is also missing.

Bingo! Front row.

The (few) excuse makers left, here, sound a lot lot the guys who didn't believe me (and a few others) back in 2013 about Elmer Fudd. Bottom line is you simply like EJ, for the guy he is and the player he was, and it's hindering you from seeing the truth about his coaching ability and this team.

Yes! Why don't any of our big men drop step but every big man we play can?!
