Court Club General Membership Meeting set for Tues Nov 10

Although open practice is now behind us, there is still plenty of time to take advantage of the majority of what the Court Club has to offer for 2015/16!

Anyone joining by Nov 17 will receive a pair of tickets per paid membership to BOTH the Central Arkansas and Monmouth home games at the RAC, as well as meeting privileges for the remainder of the season. Our meeting schedule is now fully complete, and is as follows:

Tuesday November 10 2015 Eddie Jordan and staff, and Gannett News' RU Basketball beatwriter Jerry Carino

Tuesday December 15 2015 Eddie Jordan (or a member of his staff) and the return of RU radio network color commentator and RU legend Joe Boylan

Monday January 25 2016 Eddie Jordan (or a member of his staff) and former NBA first round draft selection and Rutgers basketball royalty Quincy Douby

Thursday February 18 2016 Eddie Jordan (or a member of his staff) and Athletic Director Julie Hermann

All lineups are subject to change. All meetings to be held at the Visitors Center on Busch Campus, beginning at 7 PM. Doors open at 615 PM.

BK thanks for all you do for CC and MBB especially given the sorry state of the program. I gotta give you mad props given that I can barely stand going to the games as a season ticket holder and you keep going with the CC and unwavering support. You're a good man Charlie Brown.

By Feb 18 that session should be a real party. How committed is Julie? At the risk of showing my age, I could see her pulling a Marcia Brady: "Something suddenly came up."

For the record, I didn't even ask Julie to appear, especially after what happened with the Ledger last February. I figured no shot there, right?

But...She sought me out, and asked if she could come back again this season. I of course accepted. We've had conversations since that have confirmed her desire to speak to the CC again this season. For that, she gets major props from me.

I don't expect it to be a marathon session, but when the AD wants to appear, I'm not one to say no, you know? It adds value for our membership and produces a little buzz as well
