Did Meyer get flak for not starting JT until today?

In his defense, the guy he had to sit hasn't lost a game and won the national championship. Makes the decision a bit tougher.

Yes he did ....but obviously urban gets some leeway even if he makes a wrong decision . Just look at his body of work

Barrett is coming back from a severely broken ankle with surgery and screws implanted at the end of last year, and is just now getting back to 100% game ready. He has shown flashes of last season form, but Urban has alluded to not seeing what he needed to consistently see from JTB in practice and game situations to be convinced he was all the way back prior to last week.
