Do we see another 12 - 13 more regular season wins on schedule? That’s a tough question

I think all those things can happen and this team still has zero chance of dancing. Quite frankly I think any chatter of postseason play right now is pointless
The question is ridiculous. We will scratch out a few wins, but the next couple of months will be ugly.

We just barely escaped losing from the sisters of the poor. Hard to see this team showing any significant improvement in the areas so in need to make it a winning program. We are seriously looking at the possibility of finishing last in the BIG.
This cannot be real. No one can believe that is possible. This is one of the worst P6 teams in the country. But almost every program has down years. Give me (what would have been) four straight postseason berths followed by one lousy year every five years for eternity.

We will be lucky to win 12 to 13 in total. We are 8-4 right now (1-4 against top 100 teams), and I'm finding it difficult to find more than 4 or 5 Big Ten wins in the last 19 regular season games.

I can see us any where between 4 and 10 more wins.

I can't wrap my brain around anyone even considering the possibility of an NCAA Tournament bid for this team. Every program has a down year once in a while. We just can't make a habit of it
If we manage to finish at .500 you would have to consider the season a success . Like Pete Bell said at the end in that movie Blue Chips: 'Last season we were 14-15. The players gave it everything they had-- but it wasn't good enough--wasn't good enough for you, wasn't good enough for me, wasn't good enough for anybody!!!'
I'm assuming you meant do you see us having more than 12-13 regular season wins, not 12-13 more regular season wins, as that would have us as a 7/8 seed. I see us winning maybe 6-8 B1G games this year to get us to 14-16 wins in the regular season, probably fighting it out to stay out of the bottom 4 in the B1G and not making the NCAAs, whereas I thought we'd be a bubble team before the season assuming Mag was back and healthy. He's not enough to get us to that level - we need some other folks to step up big time who aren't playing well. The defense is poor and the shooting is poor - not a good combo.
10 more?!?!?! Spoiler alert, we ARE in a tailspin. Bottom 3 B1G team, if we get the 4 you talk of it would be a miracle.
Aside from SHU, these guys seem to have checked out once Dylan committed, starting with that clunker against Wake an hour or so later. Illinois is legit (or at least was), but every other game was winnable with effort.
LIU was troubling. But this is full on call the fire department, put out the dumpster fire. Every team we’ve fielded since 1991 would have won today by 15.
And this wasn’t like a Hofstra game where we were the superior team and they just hit insane shots. Stonehill shot poorly and we shot even worse. Barely out rebounded them. Fewer turnovers and more foul discipline and Stonehill wins this one handily.
I guess time will tell. It’s just a question. It’s possible. Albeit not probable

They may get 6 conference wins and only because I expect them to play better in February. So they'll have 2-3 wins going into the last 3 weeks of February and pick up 3 more late.
Griffiths was recruited because he was one of the most talented shooters in the 2023 freshmen class.
I said this several days ago Gavin looks so unsure. This is a team which lost 3 starters with tons of confidence. Paul, Caleb and Spencer. One playing at Washington, UConn and pro that hasn’t been accounted for. We have not filled the void as one is stuck in limbo by the NCAA. One is coming off injury? One is not even close to this level. A nice fill in guy but not the level we need. I think Gavin needs to be more aggressive as he is a talented player. Simpson, J Mike need to grow up fast or we won’t win even 14-15 games.

We were an NIL team with Cam and Paul last season.
Anyhoo...I am setting the O/U at total wins including BTT at 13 for this Eddie Jordan level team.
