Does Winowich get a good look in spring ball?

None of that matters now. Plenty of guys in college with speed. You got to produce and he's down on the depth chart.

These are the top backs that will see snaps:

Campbell
Raymond
Benjamin
Brown (depending on health)

Who is Gabe jumping over to get carries? We also don't even know if he's ahead or behind Ed Guerrier.

If he's playing special teams next year that's a good sign.

Raymond and then Winowich... although I haven't seen Campbell.
And I'm not optimistic about Brown returning to form.

Neither am I. Sadly he has a long road. He’s a very upright runner as well. I dunno. Gabe could get a shot on O. We will know in Spring ball for sure!

No. That's not what I meant at all. I just haven't been as impressed with him as everyone else seems to be. And I've heard a lot of good stuff about Winowich.

The fact that Gabe lived with the Surace family his senoir HS year should help to keep him around. In HS, he was more of a DE than LB, so I really doubt he could fill gaps at this level, but you never know. RB seems like a more natural position for him.

We wouldn’t be bringing in more TE’s and don’t use a FB.

I could see him being used as an H-back. Sort of what Langan did on occasion, lining up in multiple positions on the field.
