Many of the teams ahead of Rutgers have less money than we have. It doesn't seem that NIL is preventing us from being a top 10 program in most years and always in the top 15. Why can't we outperform teams like Missouri, Va. Tech, Nebraska, Northern Colorado, SD State, ND State, and others? What's our excuse?
Peterson ranked #9, Olivieri ranked # 23, White ranked # 21, Clark ranked # 21, Turley ranked # 24, Soldano ranked # 8, and Slavikouski ranked # 11.
The rankings of all wrestlers will likely change when schools decide who will redshirt and who comes our of redshirt. Plus incoming freshman were not ranked. Shawver and Poz will likely compete with Olivieri redshirting. Plus no certainty what Clark will do.
