Summary of what EJ said

we didn't play hard, didn't play smart, no physicality, didn't carry out game plan

He is Disappointed guards didn't set the tone to stay organized, contain the basketball

They Lacked energy and intelligence, one of the few games that he can say his team didn't play hard

He Told his team exactly that post game when Carlin Asked

Then he Referred to next two games as Two Monster games...lol

Sorry, but hey Eddie look in the mirror as to why your team doesn't play smart or has a low BB IQ. They're a reflection of you.

I'd go with Horror show for Michigan St

Dumbest D1 basketball team I've ever seen. Zero IQ on either end of the floor. Or on the bench.

The next game against Michigan State surely will be a monster game for them and another embarrassment for Rutgers .

The only way Eddie can win me over with his post game comments now would be for him to say something like the following:

"I love this university. I have given my best shot to turn this team around. But, I realize that my best is just not good enough. Because Rutgers deserves more than I can give them, I have sent my resignation to AD Hobbs today. Go RU!"

again...STOP insulting people
not many are EJ backers
some realise we will keep him because financially we cant afford not to

I wish you weren't a liar.

You don't worry that Mike might be right?
I do !
Also I wouldn't call you a liar if you expressed some realize Hobbs will be firing Jordan once this season is over. Even though no one knows that for a fact.
Sad that a post that has in it : "STOP insulting people" gets a reply that is insulting :chairshot:

He said stop insulting people after I did no such thing. Then he assumes Jordan is a back because of money.

Where did I insult someone before he chimed in?

And the "I wish you weren't a liar" line is from a famous but obscure Will Ferrell line from SNL

He put two lineups on the floor in the first half:

Dadika, Grier, DJ, Lewis, Diallo
and
Bishop, Williams, Goode, Grier, Laurent

Explain how those are conceivable lineups for this team. Especially having Diallo available for a couple minutes. They are, quite possibly, the worst lineup combinations I could fathom. Lack of feel to think either of the combinations should play.

Explain how those are conceivable lineups for this team. I guarantee those lineups haven't practiced together at all at any point. They are, quite possibly, the worst lineup combinations I could fathom. Lack of feel to think either of the combinations should play.

Eddie brought up Grier as an example of success recruiting in the spring and to defend not signing anyone in the fall.

We offered Goode a scholarship. Without watching him play a game. That's on us.

Bishop, Williams, Laurent and Diallo are recruits from this staff.

We are no younger than Seton Hall.

As of last week, Diallo's absence was one of the main reasons for our poor performance.

Grier an example of recruiting success? Yeah, the guy that sat the bench in favor of Goode today. Jesus Christ. Forget coaching, forget effort. Eddie has brought in too many players that are just not any good. For every Sanders you can't bring in 4 or 5 guys like Williams, Foreman, Grier, Goode, Ryan Johnson, etc. These might be great guys personally for all I know but they are not any good. And the roster is filled with these types of players. It's not any more complicated than that as to why he cannot come back. The guys committed for next year weren't recruited by anyone else of merit. That's not Mike Rice's fault. Our only two bigs returning right now are Diallo and a still injured Doorson. Scary.

Exactly...Sanders is very good and Freeman is good. Laurent has improved as the season progressed and people act like we should applaud it. Improvement should be expected, but here it's almost abnormal - since so many players either stagnate or regress. We're probably looking at 10-12 wins at most next year even if everyone comes back....and that's a big IF. Take mediocre players and a well-below average coach and you get...this.

EJ's fault on all of these. Time to go!
